Why is my harddrive overheating? - download model period ship plans
I install and run SpeedFan to monitor the temperature in my computer. My laptop is a Compaq Evo N610c, I read in various forums have overheating problems common. Unfortunately, it does not seem to download settings for this particular model and can not see it or change the speed of a fan.
SpeedFan hd0 Report: 73c Temp 1: 84C, 2 Temp: 45 ° C Temp 3: 16C.
From what I read, hard drives should be a rule about 40 º C, working 60 º C max.
73C should be good, because I had an egg on my laptop to cook. It's too hot to touch for a longer period.
