Why is my harddrive overheating? - download model period ship plans

I install and run SpeedFan to monitor the temperature in my computer. My laptop is a Compaq Evo N610c, I read in various forums have overheating problems common. Unfortunately, it does not seem to download settings for this particular model and can not see it or change the speed of a fan.
SpeedFan hd0 Report: 73c Temp 1: 84C, 2 Temp: 45 ° C Temp 3: 16C.
From what I read, hard drives should be a rule about 40 º C, working 60 º C max.
73C should be good, because I had an egg on my laptop to cook. It's too hot to touch for a longer period.

But what can not be identified by searching the Web, that's why. Why does my hard drive can be so hot?

Thanks in advance

SpeedFan is an excellent tool to turn the fan speed, but not so large, temperature sensors, often innaccurate. I'm not worried about that toooo inless no real problems begin. The only thing you can do to help, it is very sure that the laptop works well on a flat solid surface where the fan can draw air sits. Leaving his bed or blankets, or similar sites are the No. 1 cause of the overheating laptops. You can also cooling pads, which have $ 20 to blow a few fans in the air from your laptop and make a difference decent for the price.

You can try one of those bands that is on the laptop with a USB fan blows air through vents. Less than twenty dollars.
